Plans and limits
Every limit on the Free, Pro and Lifetime plans: links, file size, storage and website hosting. Every link feature is free on every plan.
Every link feature is free on every plan. Pro adds unlimited links, 15 GB of storage, bigger files and website hosting, so you pay only when you need more than 20 links, 500 MB of storage, or want to publish a whole website. Pro is sold monthly, yearly, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are in US dollars and the same for everyone. See the current offer on the pricing page.

How the limits work#
Live links
On Free you can hold 20 live links at the same time. It is not a lifetime count: delete a link and you get the slot back. Each file in an album is its own link, so it counts toward this number too.
File size and total storage
The largest single file is the biggest file you can upload at once. Total storage is the sum of every file you keep. On Free both are 500 MB, so one 250 MB file uses all of it. When you delete a link, its file stops counting.
Albums and websites
Albums are unlimited on every plan. One album holds up to 500 MB, and its files count toward your links and total storage. Website hosting is a Pro feature: Pro hosts up to 10 sites and Lifetime up to 25, and their files count toward storage. If your plan ends, published sites keep working and stay manageable, but publishing or updating a site needs Pro. See Albums and Host a static website.
Free links do not expire
Every link feature is free#
Uploading, sharing, QR codes, view counts, view-only mode, replacing a file and turning a link off work on every plan, and so does everything below. Plans differ in links, storage and file size, plus website hosting, which is on Pro and Lifetime.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Password protection | Visitors must enter a password to open the link. |
| Expiry date | The link turns off on a date you pick. |
| Custom link name | Choose the exact address after /p/. |
| Advanced analytics | Time spent, read-through, referrers, devices, countries and CSV export. |
| Hide branding | Remove the Link in Seconds badge from your public pages. |
| Custom branding | Your logo and accent colour on your link and album pages. |
| Email the link | Send the link to someone by email from Link in Seconds (daily caps apply). |
| View limit | Stop a link after a set number of views. |
| Notify on view | Get an email when someone opens your link. |
| Email gate | Ask visitors for their email before they can open the file. |
| Watermark | Add a watermark to view-only PDFs. |
| Comments | Collect feedback and comments on a shared link. |
| Version history | Replacing a file keeps up to 5 earlier versions you can restore. They count toward storage. |
| Custom domains | Connect up to 5 of your own domains. |
Most of them are set from a link's settings. See Link settings and controls.
When you hit a limit#
- Out of links: delete a link you no longer need, or upgrade for unlimited links.
- File too large or storage full: the upload stops before anything is published and tells you why. Delete files to make room, or upgrade.
- Leaving Pro: links you already made stay live and keep their settings. New links follow the Free limits on links and storage.
