Acceptable Use & Content Policy
Last updated August 2026
Link in Seconds is a tool for sharing your own files as clean links. To keep it safe and trustworthy for everyone, this policy explains what may be shared, how we moderate content, and how to report a link. It works alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy.
What you may share
Only content you own or have the right to share, in supported formats: PDF, images (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF), video (MP4, WebM, MOV), ZIP archives, and HTML. That's it.
What is not allowed
- Phishing — pages that imitate a login, bank, wallet, or brand to capture passwords, card numbers, or personal data.
- Malware or harmful code. Executable files are blocked outright, by both file type and content inspection.
- Impersonating any person, brand, business, or government entity, or pretending to be affiliated with one.
- Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
- Sexually exploitative material, harassment, or content that promotes harm.
How we keep it safe
- Every upload passes an automated safety check; executables are rejected.
- Content is moderated with a mix of automated scanning and human review.
- Every public link page carries a Report button.
- Reported or abusive links are disabled after review, and repeat offenders are banned.
- We never ask a visitor for a password or payment details to open a link — viewing a shared file is free and needs no account.
Report a link
Found something that breaks these rules? Use the Report button on the link's page, or email support@linkinseconds.com with the link. We review reports promptly and remove violating content.
Enforcement
We may disable any link or account that violates this policy, with or without notice. We cooperate with lawful requests from rights holders and authorities.
