How do I make a link for a voice memo?
Save or export the voice memo as an M4A or MP3, upload the file here and copy the short link. The person opening it gets a browser audio player and needs no account or app. You can set a password, expiry date or view limit. We host your recording as uploaded; there is no transcription or editing.
Use the recording you already have
Export from your phone's recorder and upload the file. This page does not record from your microphone.
Easy to listen
The recipient opens a browser player with duration, seek and playback speed. There is no app to install.
Protect a personal recording
Add a password or expiry before sharing. Anyone with an unlocked link may still record what they hear.
Before sending a voice memo
An iPhone voice memo exported as M4A usually uploads directly. MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC and FLAC are also supported. A .opus file is not currently accepted; convert it to MP3 or M4A first.
Ask permission before sharing a recording of other people. The link is unlisted, but anyone who receives it may forward it unless you add access controls.
Free covers files up to 250 MB. That is roughly 6 hours of MP3 at 96 kbps, or about 25 minutes of uncompressed WAV. Pro raises the per-file cap to 500 MB. A free account keeps up to 50 live links at a time; delete one to free a slot.
How to make a voice memo link
1
Save the recording
Export the voice memo from your phone as M4A or MP3.
2
Upload and preview
Choose the file here, listen to the preview, then sign in to publish.
3
Send the link
Copy the short URL and share it. Add a password for a personal recording.
Share an iPhone voice memo
In Voice Memos, choose the recording, use Share, and save the audio file so you can pick it in the uploader. Once published, copy the short URL. A long recording streams with seeking; a very short clip still plays as a normal audio link. The uploader lets you listen before publishing.
Set an end date or a view cap and the link stops on its own. Send a quote that expires Friday, or a preview that closes after five opens, without remembering to delete it.
Preview episodes for guests, send cuts to the editor, share bonus segments outside the feed.
Teachers and lecturers
Lecture recordings, listening exercises, pronunciation examples, one link or QR per class.
Voice actors and producers
Takes, mixes and draft cues for client approval, listen-only when the work is not paid for yet.
Journalists and researchers
Hour-long interviews and field recordings sent to an editor or a colleague, password-locked when needed.
What people say
In their words
“The admin interface is incredibly intuitive and set up exactly how a user actually thinks. My students all said it was easy to use and worked perfectly.”

“The app is genuinely nice and easy to handle. I keep all my different app links in one place, my App Store and Play Store screenshots, and I organise my images and PDFs into albums with tags. The big storage means everything just lives here.”
EEvelynApp developer
“I handle contracts, invoices and legal files for several different organisations, so almost everything I send is password protected. Link in Seconds makes that simple, and I run my portfolio on a custom domain. It is easy to use and genuinely affordable.”
