Child Safety Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material and the exploitation of minors. There is no context, artistic claim, or private-use argument that makes this content acceptable on Link in Seconds. Any such material is removed, the account is permanently terminated and banned, the material and related records are preserved for investigators, and the matter is reported to the appropriate authorities.

For the purposes of this policy, a child (or minor) is any person under 18 years of age. The following terms have the meanings below.

• CSAM (child sexual abuse material): any image, video, drawing, computer-generated image, or other depiction of a minor engaged in real or simulated sexually explicit conduct, or of the sexual parts of a minor for a sexual purpose. This includes AI-generated, morphed, or deepfake depictions.
• Grooming: any attempt to establish a relationship with a minor to facilitate sexual contact, exploitation, or the production of CSAM.
• Sexualization of minors: any content that sexualizes, or presents in a sexual manner, a person who is or appears to be under 18, whether the depiction is real, fictional, or synthetic.
• Child sexual exploitation: the use of a minor for sexual gratification, financial gain, or any advantage, including trafficking, sextortion, and the solicitation of sexual content from a minor.

You must never upload, host, link to, request, produce, or share any of the following on Link in Seconds.

• Any CSAM, in any file format, including AI-generated, morphed, or deepfake material.
• Content that sexualizes anyone under 18, real or fictional.
• Grooming, sextortion, or the solicitation of sexual content or contact from a minor.
• Facilitating, promoting, advertising, or linking to child sexual exploitation.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery involving a minor, in any form.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or upload content. This service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children (persons under 18 years of age). If we become aware that we have collected the personal data of a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

We use several layers of detection. We do not, and cannot, review every file before it is published, and no system catches everything. These are best-effort measures to enforce this policy, not a guarantee that all content is lawful. The following mechanisms work together to help us find and act on this material.

• Automated safety scanning on upload. Files are scanned by third-party content-safety providers (OpenAI, Google Cloud Vision, and AWS Rekognition, all located in the United States) that receive extracted text and image frames solely to return an automated safety score. For video, sampled frames are sent as images. This transfer happens at the time of upload. Automated scanning flags content for our review; it is not a warranty that unlawful content is blocked before it is published. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors.
• Human review. Flagged content and reports are reviewed by our team.
• User reports. Every public link page carries a Report button, and anyone can email us a concern. See Report a link.

When we identify apparent CSAM or the exploitation of a minor, we act immediately and without exception.

• Immediate removal. The content is disabled and taken down.
• Permanent termination and ban.The responsible account is permanently terminated and banned, and all of that user's links are blocked.
• Preservation of evidence. We preserve the material and associated account data and metadata for law enforcement. Where we report apparent CSAM to authorities, we preserve the report and related content for at least 90 days (extendable to 180 days) as contemplated by applicable law, and we do not disclose the report to the responsible user.
• Reporting to authorities. We report the matter to the appropriate authorities, as described below.

If you believe content on Link in Seconds involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, please report it right away. Reports to us are treated as confidential.

• Email us at support@linkinseconds.com with the link and any details. You can also use the Report button on the link's page.
• In India, report to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in and to your local police or Special Juvenile Police Unit.
• Internationally, report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

We cooperate fully with law enforcement and comply with our reporting duties. When we obtain knowledge of apparent CSAM, we preserve the material and report it as required. We do not affirmatively monitor for CSAM beyond our general safety scanning, but we will report it whenever we become aware of it.

• India. We report to Indian authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and the local police or Special Juvenile Police Unit, as required under Section 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Sections 19 and 20 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. Under POCSO, reporting such an offence is mandatory, and failure to report is itself an offence under Section 21.
• United States and international. For US-facing reporting, we report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline consistent with 18 U.S.C. 2258A, and we preserve related material and metadata as contemplated by 18 U.S.C. 2258A(h). We do not affirmatively monitor for CSAM beyond our general safety scanning, but we will report it whenever we become aware of it, and we cooperate with lawfully authorised requests.

Reports made to us about child-safety concerns are handled confidentially. We do not disclose the identity of a person who reports in good faith to the account holder involved, and we do not notify a user that they have been reported to authorities.

For any grievance or complaint, including child-safety matters, you may contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint within twenty-four (24) hours and endeavour to resolve it within fifteen (15) days of receipt, in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
