Is JPG the same as JPEG?

Yes. They are the same format with two spellings of the extension. We accept both .jpg and .jpeg and show them the same way.

Is the photo's location data removed?

No. We serve the file exactly as uploaded, so any location or camera details your phone embedded stay inside it. If that matters, remove the location from the photo before you upload it.

Can I share an iPhone photo?

Yes. JPG photos work as is. iPhones often save photos as HEIC, and our upload converts HEIC to JPEG in your browser so the recipient can open it anywhere.
