## How do wedding guests share their photos with the couple?

Make a group album and print its QR code on a card for each table. A guest scans it, signs in with Google or email in one tap, and adds photos and videos straight from their phone. Everything lands in one album, each item shows who added it, and only people who joined can see it.

### A table card that does the asking for you

Print the album's QR card in the Wedding style, as a flat card or a folded tent for the tables. It says what to do in one line: scan, sign in with Google, add your photos. You can also download the QR as an image for the invitation or the welcome sign.

[How QR photo sharing works](https://linkinseconds.com/qr-code-photo-sharing)

### Every phone, one album, names on every photo

Each photo shows the first name of the guest who added it, so you can thank your cousin for the sparkler shot. Filter by person, by photos or videos, or by the favorites you starred, and play the whole album as a slideshow.

### Private to the people who were there

A group album is not a public link. Only you and the guests who joined can open it. Guests see each other's first names, never emails; only you see who joined and with which email.

### Open for the whole celebration, then close it

One album can cover the engagement party, the ceremony and the reception. Pick a date when adding closes, and after it guests can still look and save but cannot add more. You can always add, and you can pause new joins at any time.

### Know this before the big day

Guests have to sign in. It is one tap with Google, or an email link, but a few relatives will not do it. Ask a cousin to collect their photos and add them for them.

Storage is yours. Everything guests add counts against your plan: 500 MB on Free, 15 GB on Pro, 30 GB on Lifetime. At 2 to 5 MB per phone photo, Free holds roughly 100 to 250 photos, and videos fill it much faster.

Photos and videos only. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and iPhone HEIC photos (converted to JPEG on the phone), and MP4, MOV or WebM videos. Documents and ZIP files cannot go in.

Removing stops access, not copies. Deleting a photo or removing a guest works at once, but it cannot undo what someone already saved. You can turn guest downloads off if that matters.

When they are better: Google Photos when every guest already uses Google and you want anyone with the link to look without signing in; a Dropbox file request when photos should come only to you; WeTransfer when the photographer sends one big batch once; a dedicated wedding app when you want extras we do not have, such as live slideshow screens at the venue or prints. ## How to collect wedding photos from guests

- 1 ### Create a group album In your dashboard, pick the Group album tile, give it your names and an optional tagline like the date and venue.

- 2 ### Print the table cards Open Print QR, choose the Wedding style and the card or tent layout, and print one for each table. Add the QR image to the invitation or the welcome sign too.

- 3 ### Guests scan, sign in and add Each guest scans the card, signs in with Google or email, and adds photos and videos from their phone. They see the whole album, with who added what.

- 4 ### Close it and save your favorites Set a date when adding closes, star the photos you love, and download a selection as one ZIP file.

## Why guest photos matter even when you hired a photographer

Your photographer covers the ceremony, the portraits and the first dance. Your guests cover everything else: the getting-ready chaos, the table where your college friends sat, the aunt who danced all night, the last hour after the photographer packed up. Those photos usually stay on forty different phones and arrive in scattered chats weeks later, if at all. A group album gives them one place to go while the night is still happening.

- ·Ask during the night, not after. A card on the table and one line from the MC get far more photos than a message three days later.

- ·Add the photographer's selects yourself when they arrive, so the official set and the guest shots sit in the same album.

- ·Each guest can add up to 1,000 items, so the friend who films everything will not crowd anyone out by accident.

## What your guests actually see when they scan

The QR opens your album's page in the phone's browser, with your names and tagline on it. There is no app to install. They tap Continue with Google (or use their email instead), come straight back already joined, and pick photos and videos from their camera roll. Uploads show progress and keep going if they switch apps for a moment.

- ·Per-file size follows your plan: up to 250 MB per file on Free and 500 MB on Pro, enough for long phone videos of the speeches.

- ·Every upload goes through a safety check. Anything held for review shows as In review only to the guest who added it and to you.

- ·You get an email when guests add photos, so you can peek at the album during the reception or the morning after.

## Free or Pro for a wedding album?

Start on Free and see how it goes. A small wedding where guests add their best few shots can fit in 500 MB. A big wedding with a hundred guests and phone videos usually needs Pro's 15 GB. When the album is full, guests are told before anything uploads, and you can upgrade from the album page. Group album photos do not count toward the 50 live links of the Free plan.

## Wedding photo sharing questions

No app. The QR opens the album in the phone's browser. Guests do need to sign in once, with Google in one tap or with an email link, so the album knows who added what and stays private to your guests.

Only you and the guests who joined the album. It is not a public link: someone who gets the link still has to sign in and join, and you can pause joining or remove anyone. Guests see each other's first names; only you see their emails.

Creating the album is free. Everything guests add counts against your plan's storage: 500 MB on Free, roughly 100 to 250 phone photos, or 15 GB on Pro for a big wedding with videos. When it is full, guests are told before anything uploads.

Yes. MP4, MOV and WebM videos go in next to the photos, and iPhone HEIC photos are converted to JPEG on the phone before they upload. Other files, like documents or ZIPs, cannot go into a group album.

Yes. You can delete any photo in the album. Removing a guest takes their access away at once, you choose whether their photos stay or go, and they cannot join again. Guests can delete only what they added themselves.

By default, yes: they can save one photo or select several and download them as one ZIP file. If you would rather they only look, turn guest downloads off. You can always download everything yourself.

A normal album is for sending: you upload the photos and anyone with the link can look, no sign-in. A group album is for collecting: guests sign in and add their own. Many couples use both, a group album during the wedding and a normal album link for the photographer's final set.
