HTML viewer

# View HTML filesas a live page

An HTML file is a web page saved as a single document: markup, usually with its CSS and JavaScript written inside. Double-click it on your own computer and it opens fine, but send it to someone and it arrives as an attachment their phone shows as raw code, or that their email security strips out. Upload it to Link in Seconds and the page renders live in the browser at a short link. Its scripts run inside a locked sandbox, so the page works as designed but can't touch your visitors' accounts, cookies or downloads.

## How it works

- 1 ### Keep everything in one file A single HTML file works best when its CSS and JavaScript are inline and images use full https URLs or are embedded. Pages exported by AI tools, notebooks and email builders are usually like this already.

- 2 ### Upload and preview it Sign in with Google and upload the .html. It appears inside a browser-style frame that shows the file name, with reload, open in a new tab and fullscreen.

- 3 ### Share the page Send the link. On a phone, wide desktop layouts are scaled down to fit the screen, so the whole page is visible instead of being cropped at the edges.

## Rendered, never shown as source

Email clients and chat apps treat .html as a download or show the raw tags. Here the page is drawn the way a browser draws a website, with its fonts, layout, animations and interactive JavaScript, so a prototype or report looks like the real thing.

## Scripts run in a sandbox

The page loads in an iframe with no access to our site's origin. Its JavaScript, forms and new-tab links work, but it can't read cookies or storage, navigate the page around it, or push a file download onto your visitor.

## Ideal for AI-built pages and one-off reports

Landing page drafts from ChatGPT or Claude, data reports exported from a notebook, email templates, interactive quizzes: anything that lives in one HTML file becomes a link you can send for feedback in seconds.

## See who opened the mockup

Every view is counted, so you know whether the client actually looked at the draft. Add a password for unreleased work or an expiry date for a time-limited offer.

## What a single HTML file can't do here

Separate CSS, JS and image files

A page that points to style.css, app.js or an images folder loads without them, because only the one HTML file is uploaded. Zip the folder and publish it as a website instead; website hosting is part of Pro.

Server code and saved data

PHP, Node and database code don't run, only what a browser can run on its own. Inside the sandbox the page also can't keep cookies or localStorage, so anything that relies on them to remember visitors won't.

Pages that ask for passwords

A page with a login or password form is shown behind a safety notice, and pages built for phishing are blocked by our moderation. It protects your visitors and keeps legitimate pages trusted.

The app you opened it in treats it as text, which is common in email previews, chat apps and phone file managers. Opened through a Link in Seconds link, the same file is rendered as a page by the browser.

Your HTML refers to other files, such as an images folder or a stylesheet, that weren't uploaded with it. Put the CSS inline, use full https image URLs, or upload the whole folder as a ZIP site.

Yes, inside the sandbox. Charts, tabs, quizzes and animations run normally. What is blocked is access to cookies and storage, navigating the surrounding page, and forced downloads.

One page, yes. For a multi-page site with its own assets, upload a ZIP and publish it as a static website with its own address. Website hosting is a Pro feature.

Yes. A single HTML page counts as one link like any other file, and the free plan includes 50 live links.
