# Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Radadiya Sunny Keshavbhai (Sole Proprietorship), the operator of Link in Seconds at linkinseconds.com and at lisview.com, where shared links open (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, uploading a file, creating a link, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We are a sole proprietorship registered in India. These details are published in accordance with Rule 5(3) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and in full on our [Legal Notice](https://linkinseconds.com/legal-notice) page. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Radadiya Sunny Keshavbhai operating as Link in Seconds.

## 2. These documents are our intermediary rules

These Terms, our [Privacy Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/privacy) and our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/acceptable-use) together constitute the rules and regulations, privacy policy and user agreement published under Rule 3(1)(a) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. All of our policies are linked in the footer of the site.

## 3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or upload content. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If we learn that a user is under 18 we will close the account and delete its data. See our [Child Safety Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/child-safety).

## 4. What the Service does

Link in Seconds lets you:

- Upload a file and get a clean public link (for example lisview.com/your-slug) that anyone with the URL can view.

- Group files into albums, share HTML pages and, on paid plans, host static websites.

- Send files device to device with our peer-to-peer Direct Send feature.

- Manage links, see view analytics, generate QR codes and control link settings.

The Service is offered on a Free plan and paid Pro plans. Every link feature is available on every plan; paid plans add capacity (more links, more storage and larger files) and static website hosting. See [Pricing](https://linkinseconds.com/pricing) for current plans and limits.

## 5. Service provided "as is" and no backup

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis as an evolving product. We do not guarantee any particular uptime, availability or speed, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Service is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you upload. Free links do not currently expire on a timer; we may introduce a renewable time limit for free links in future and will give notice before it applies. We may remove content or discontinue features, and we are not liable for loss of files or links.

## 6. Accounts and security

You sign in with Google (OAuth); we use your Google account email to authenticate you. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Tell us promptly at [support@linkinseconds.com](mailto:support@linkinseconds.com) if you believe your account has been compromised. One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to evade plan limits or a ban.

You can create API keys to publish files through our [API and MCP server](https://linkinseconds.com/docs/developers) (for example from an AI assistant or a script). A key acts as you: everything published with it is your content under these Terms, with the same plan limits and safety checks as the website, plus a lower hourly upload limit on the Free plan. Keep keys secret and delete any key you think has leaked. We may disable a key, or API access as a whole, to stop abuse or protect the Service.

## 7. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our [Acceptable Use Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/acceptable-use), which forms part of these Terms and lists the content and conduct that is not permitted, including the categories of unlawful content in Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT Rules, 2021. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the links you create, and you confirm you have all rights needed to do so.

## 8. Your content and the licence you grant us

You keep ownership of everything you upload. We do not claim ownership of your files, links or the content within them.

To operate the Service you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, host, transmit, display and make technical copies of your content solely to:

- host and store your files;

- serve your public links and generate the URLs, previews, thumbnails and QR codes for them; and

- run automated and human content-safety review to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and the law.

The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must retain for a limited period to comply with law or resolve disputes. We do not sell your content or personal data, we never use your files to train any AI or machine-learning model, and we do not sublicense your content beyond what is needed to deliver the Service.

## 9. Your responsibilities for specific features

- Email-gate leads. If you turn on the email gate, the addresses your viewers enter are collected on your behalf and shown to you. For those addresses you are the data controller (data fiduciary) and we are your processor. You must have a lawful basis to collect them, tell your viewers how you will use them, honour their rights, and not use them for spam.

- Comments. You may turn comments on or off and delete any comment on your link. You are responsible for moderating comments on your own links.

- Custom domains. You may only connect a domain you control and are entitled to use. We may disconnect a domain that is used to deceive, that infringes a trademark, or that you no longer control.

- Static sites and HTML. No phishing, no forms that collect passwords, card numbers or one-time codes, no malware, no cryptominers, and no content that imitates a login page or a brand you do not own. HTML runs inside a sandbox and may not attempt to escape it.

- API keys and connected apps. You are responsible for what is done with your API keys and by apps you connect to your account (for example an AI assistant you allow through the sign-in screen). Everything they publish is your content under these Terms. Only connect apps you trust; you can disconnect an app or delete a key on the API keys page of your dashboard at any time.

## 10. Content-safety scanning (no editorial control)

Files you upload are transmitted to third-party content-safety providers outside India (OpenAI, Google Cloud Vision, Google Web Risk, the TypeSafe Jev classifier via OpenRouter, the file hash and link hosts to abuse.ch, our ClamAV malware scanner, and new HTML pages to urlscan.io) to return an automated safety verdict, both at upload time and in later scheduled re-scans. Scanning and human review help us enforce our Acceptable Use Policy. They are not a warranty that all content on the Service is lawful or safe. We do not pre-screen, approve, curate or guarantee the legality of user content, and we do not undertake to monitor all content or catch every violation.

## 11. Public links and sensitive information

A public link can be viewed by anyone who has the URL; no login is required to view it. Do not upload sensitive or confidential information to a public link. Files are encrypted in transit (TLS), encrypted at rest by our storage providers and served from a private bucket through signed links. They are not end-to-end encrypted; we and our content-safety providers can technically access file content. Only peer-to-peer Direct Send transfers are encrypted device to device with nothing stored on our servers.

## 12. Moderation, statement of reasons and appeals

We may remove or disable access to content, or suspend, restrict or terminate an account, where we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, or where required to protect the Service, other users or third parties. We act on our own detection, on reports from the Report button on every file and album page, on emailed notices, and on court orders or notifications from an authorised government agency (Rule 3(1)(c) and 3(1)(d) of the IT Rules, 2021).

Statement of reasons. When we remove or restrict your content or account we send you an email that says what we did, which law or rule it breached, whether automated detection was involved, and how to appeal. We do not send it where the law forbids it (for example child sexual abuse material) or where the email would help an attacker.

Appeals. Reply to that email, or write to [support@linkinseconds.com](mailto:support@linkinseconds.com), within six months. A human reviews every appeal; appeals are never decided by automation alone. If you are in India you may also escalate to the Grievance Appellate Committee (see [Grievance Redressal](https://linkinseconds.com/grievance)). If you are in the EU you may use an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act.

On a court order, or a notification by an appropriate Government or its authorised agency, that content is unlawful, we remove it within the timelines on our [Grievance Redressal](https://linkinseconds.com/grievance) page. Copyright takedowns follow our [Copyright Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/dmca), and child-safety matters our [Child Safety Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/child-safety).

## 13. Our status as an intermediary

Link in Seconds is an intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and a hosting service under the EU Digital Services Act. Content is stored and made available at the direction of users; we do not initiate the transmission, select its receiver, or select or modify the information in it. We observe the due diligence in Section 79(2)(c) of the IT Act and Rule 3 of the IT Rules, 2021. Because content is hosted at your direction, you, not we, are responsible for what you upload and share.

## 14. Billing, auto-renewal and cancellation

Paid plans and prices are shown on our [Pricing](https://linkinseconds.com/pricing) page. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles card data, tax, invoices and refunds; we never see your full card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax shown at checkout.

- Auto-renewal. Pro Monthly ($9 per month) and Pro Yearly ($49 per year) renew automatically at the end of each period, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. Yearly subscribers get a reminder email about 30 days before renewal.

- Cancellation. Cancel any time online at [/dashboard/billing](https://linkinseconds.com/dashboard/billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep Pro until then and are not charged again.

- Lifetime. Pro Lifetime ($99 launch price, regular price $149) is one payment, no renewal, and gives you the Lifetime plan's capacity for the lifetime of the product, meaning for as long as Link in Seconds is operated. It is non-refundable except where the law requires a refund.

- Price changes. We announce any price change by email at least 30 days before it takes effect for your next renewal. A price change never applies to a Lifetime purchase.

- Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved.

- When Pro ends. Your existing links stay live and keep their settings, and new uploads are limited to the Free plan limits on links, storage and file size. Websites you already published keep working and you can still manage or delete them, but publishing or updating a website needs a paid plan. We do not delete files because your account is over the Free limits.

Refunds and the statutory rights of EU, UK, Indian and Californian buyers are in our [Refund Policy](https://linkinseconds.com/refunds). For billing complaints under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within one month.

## 15. Sanctions and export control

You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes, or if you are on a sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or India. You may not use the Service to export, re-export or transfer content in violation of export-control law.

## 16. Termination and suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time, delete your links, and delete your account at [/dashboard/account](https://linkinseconds.com/dashboard/account). We may suspend or terminate your access as described in Section 12. On termination the licence you granted us ends, subject to copies we retain to comply with law. We retain user registration information for 180 days after account cancellation under Rule 3(1)(g) of the IT Rules, 2021, and financial and tax records for as long as Indian law requires.

## 17. Disclaimers and warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and availability. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be available at any particular time, be secure against every threat, or that any content served through it is lawful. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

## 18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, links, profits, revenue, goodwill or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you are on the Free plan and have paid nothing, one thousand Indian Rupees (INR 1,000). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including a consumer's statutory rights.

## 19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Radadiya Sunny Keshavbhai (operating as Link in Seconds) from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the content you upload or the links you create, including email addresses you collect through the email gate; (b) your violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law; or (c) your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days (7 days where the 2026 amendment to the IT Rules applies). ## 21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, subject to any consumer's statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live.

## 22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, email account holders before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
