Legal # Refund & Cancellation Policy Last updated October 3, 2026 This policy explains our billing, cancellations and refunds. It applies to the paid [Pro plans](https://linkinseconds.com/pricing) (monthly, yearly and Lifetime). The Free plan is free with no card required, and there is no free trial on any paid plan. ## All sales are final Paid plans are billed immediately and all purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for monthly, yearly or Lifetime Pro plans, including for unused time after a renewal. There is no free trial, so you always see the price before you pay, and the Free plan lets you use the product for as long as you like at no cost before deciding. The only exceptions are refunds we are required to give by law (see Your statutory rights and the EU/UK section below) and any refund or chargeback handled by Dodo Payments as our merchant of record. ## How billing and auto-renewal work - Pro Monthly ($9 per month) and Pro Yearly ($49 per year) renew automatically at the end of each billing period and charge your saved payment method until you cancel. - Yearly subscribers receive a reminder email about 30 days before each renewal. - We announce any price change by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. Price changes never apply to a Lifetime purchase. - Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax shown at checkout. ## Cancel anytime - Cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time, online, at [/dashboard/billing](https://linkinseconds.com/dashboard/billing). No email, no phone call, no retention flow. - Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. You keep Pro until the period you paid for ends, and you are not charged again. - When Pro ends your existing links stay live and keep their settings, and new uploads are limited to the Free plan limits on links, storage and file size. Published websites keep working and stay manageable, but publishing or updating a website needs Pro. We never delete files because an account is over the Free limits. - Lifetime is one payment with no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. ## What Lifetime means Pro Lifetime ($99 launch price; regular price $149) gives you the Lifetime plan's capacity for the lifetime of the product, meaning for as long as Link in Seconds is operated, with one payment and no renewal. It is not a promise that the product will exist forever. If we ever shut the service down we will give notice and time to download your files. Lifetime is non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. ## Buyers in the EU and UK: right of withdrawal If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Your plan's extra capacity is switched on the moment you pay. By asking for immediate access at checkout you agree that we start providing the service right away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, and that for a subscription you may be charged a proportionate amount for the part of the period already used if you withdraw before it ends. Your other statutory rights are not affected. ## Buyers in California: automatic renewal notice Under California's Automatic Renewal Law we tell you plainly: Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly are automatically renewing subscriptions. You will be charged $9 every month or $49 every year until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time at [/dashboard/billing](https://linkinseconds.com/dashboard/billing), and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Yearly subscribers are reminded by email about 30 days before renewal. There is no free trial and no promotional period that converts to a different price. ## Cancellations & billing help For a billing question, a duplicate charge, or a refund you believe is required by law, email [support@linkinseconds.com](mailto:support@linkinseconds.com) from the email address on your account. We respond within 2 business days. ## Payments (Dodo Payments, our merchant of record) Payments for Link in Seconds are processed by Dodo Payments, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Dodo handles card data, tax, invoices and refunds; we never see or store your full card details. Where a refund is required by law, or is issued by Dodo as part of a dispute, it is returned to your original payment method through Dodo and typically appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Your card statement may show Dodo as the seller of record. Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us first, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved. Please write to us first; a duplicate or mistaken charge is fixed within days. ## Your statutory rights Nothing in this policy takes away or limits any right you have by law.
